This Fair Use Policy outlines the acceptable use guidelines for the Stomp Loyalty platform, including the Consumer Wallet App, Merchant Admin Console, and related services. It is designed to ensure that all customers enjoy the full benefits of Stomp Loyalty by maintaining high-quality performance across the platform.

This Fair Use Policy applies to all Stomp Loyalty services and all users of the platform. It supplements and is subject to the Terms of Service.

1. Purpose

To ensure that all our customers enjoy the full benefits of Stomp Loyalty, we have implemented a Fair Use Policy designed to provide an optimal experience for everyone. Excessive issuance of digital cards by some users could negatively impact network quality and degrade the service for the majority. Our goal is to maintain high-quality performance across the board, which is why we continuously monitor Stomp Loyalty usage on a monthly basis.

This Policy sets limits on the number of passes to prevent any single user from adversely affecting the system.


2. Why We Have a Fair Use Policy

During peak times, many customers simultaneously use the shared network bandwidth, which can impact service quality. Most customers use their service responsibly, with digital stamp card volume corresponding to store visitors.

However, a small minority misuse Stomp Loyalty by sending their digital stamp card links to thousands of people — including those far from their business or unlikely to be customers. This degrades service quality for everyone, slowing account access during busy periods. This Policy addresses such misuse to keep Stomp Loyalty equitable and efficient for all users.


3. How the Fair Use Policy Works

We set fair usage levels for unlimited digital loyalty cards above typical usage so the vast majority of customers remain unaffected. This accommodates regular use while addressing abnormal spikes that could impact overall service quality.


4. How to Know If This Policy Affects You

The Fair Use Policy applies to all customers. In practice, it only affects the very few who abuse the service. If your usage corresponds to genuine customer interactions at your store, you will not be impacted.


5. Enforcement and Our Rights

If, upon reaching the usage levels specified for your plan, excessive or unreasonable use continues, Stomp Loyalty may, without further notice, take one or more of the following actions:

  • Suspend or limit the service (or any feature) for a period we deem reasonably necessary.
  • Terminate your agreement in accordance with the Terms of Service.

If you are found to be in breach of this Policy, we may contact you to discuss adjusting your usage before taking enforcement action.


6. Changes to This Policy

Stomp Loyalty reserves the right to modify this Fair Use Policy periodically. For material changes — meaning changes that significantly affect the scope or enforcement of this Policy — Stomp will provide prominent notice before the changes take effect. This notice may be provided through an in-app notification, an email to the address associated with your account, or a prominent notice on the platform’s login or onboarding screens.

For non-material changes — such as typographical corrections, formatting updates, or clarifications that do not alter the substance of this Policy — updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document will constitute sufficient notice.

Your continued use of the Stomp platform after the effective date of any changes to this Fair Use Policy constitutes your acknowledgment of the updated Policy.
